	Kathy Broussard - Founder Board member 2001 - December 2010 The Houston Ground Angels grew out of Kathy's concern that many patients flown into Houston for treatment did not have anyone to meet them, and couldn't afford round-trip taxi ride to the hospital. Valentine's Day of 2001 marked the first Ground Angel mission. At that time Kathy and others were part of the Angel Flight's program. Angel Flight South Central Volunteer of the Year 2004. In July 2005 Kathy, Pete and Bo started putting together what is now the Houston Ground Angels. In January 2009, H-E-B Grocery Stores, KPRC Local 2 News and KSBJ Christian Radio awarded Kathy the Jefferson Award - In every neighborhood, there are "unsung heroes" -- volunteers who are not paid as well as many professionals but go well beyond their expected duties. The acts of this individual helped hundreds of others.

	Bror A. "Pete" Peterson - - Board member July 2005 - December 2010 A native Houstonian. Served in World War II and the Korean conflict. Graduate of the University of Houston. Retired from Tenneco Gas Transmission as Manager of Materials after 32 years service. Sports official for 27 years in softball, football, baseball & basketball. Served four years as National Deputy Umpire-in-Chief, Amateur Softball Assn. of America. Life Member of University of Houston Alumni Assn., 100 Club of Houston and Amateur Softball Assn. of America.

	William C. "Bo" Hunter - Board member July 2005 - December 2010 Angel Flight South Central pilot of the year 2004. Instrumental in the startup of HGA and the design of Who We Are and What We Do. Has flown many missions for various organizations that provide the same service as the Houston Ground Angels.
